Bjarne Stroustrup, the "inventor" and first implementer of C++, is about to publish a new book. It's titled Programming - Principles and Practices Using C++ and is going to be published in August. It's already listed at amazon.com. In contrast to The C++ Programming Language, this book is on an introductory level to programming, not only C++. It's something that the C++ community was lacking for years now, with the only alternative of Accelerated C++.
